Analysis

Ben Simmons- Simmons in many people's minds was the consensus number one pick, so it wasn't really a surprise to see the Sixers take him. However Simmons in my mind was not the best player available in this draft, Ingram is. In fact I had Simmons as my 4th rated prospect. Still there is no denying Simmons' upside and the Sixers could use all the talent they can get. A point forward that can handle the rock and find open teammates he should fit in nicely with this young roster.
Grade: B+

Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot- The Sixers absolutely stole Luwawu this late in the first round. Luwawu was a top 15 prospect and, freakish athlete with tons of upside and, getting him at 24th overall is high-way robbery.
Grade: A

Furkan Korkmaz- Apparently the Sixers are trying to get as many guards as they can, and who can blame them? Their guard play has been a glaring weakness for some time now. While I like Korkmaz there were still better prospects like Wayne Selden or Dejounte Murray still on the board.
Grade: C-

Overall Grade: B
The Sixers added some much needed young talent at the guard and wing positions. While they didn't necessarily take the best players available, they filled their draft needs adequately. There is no doubt this will be a fun team to keep in eye on for the 2016-2017 NBA Season.
